This trip was incredible and offered a refreshing change from typical wine tastings. We visited Luberon and were fortunate to explore the vibrant Friday markets, filled with local goods, clothing, and jewelry. I learned so much on this trip and thoroughly enjoyed visiting the charming small villages, especially Sault. The stunning lavender fields were a highlight, and I gained new knowledge about this magical plant. We indulged in local delicacies like nougat and savored lavender honey at a farm shop. Petra, our guide, was delightful and very knowledgeable about the region. She eagerly answered all our questions and even served as a photographer, capturing our best moments in the lavender fields. Despite the temperature nearing 40°C, the mini-bus was comfortably cool and spacious. Petra was an excellent driver, pointing out interesting sites along the way. On our return to Marseille, we enjoyed listening to classic French tunes, which perfectly capped off our unforgettable journey.

We participated in the tour in July 2024. We were informed that Valensole was harvested before the scheduled tour date and we would not be able to see it. Our guide, Arnaud, found the best lavender field instead!!! and it was a very special and unique tour! Not only did we learn about the types of lavender, how to harvest and dry it at a very nice local farmer, but we were also able to buy freshly harvested bouquets directly, which was a wonderful experience that you would never get on other large tours. Of course, we visited the famous lavender fields (photo spot), but we also was able to enjoy the lavender fields in a hidden spot just for us, so I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for that kind of tour.
