From Saranda: Butrint,Ksamil, Blue Eye, Lekuresi Castle tour

Wonderful trip! Tony was the perfect tour guide - it was just him and I for the trip to Butrint and Ksamil but we chatted away like old friends as he gave me the guided tours explaining all the history and information. After meeting the others we swapped to a minivan which was comfortable with air con and went to the Blue Eye. The day was great, transport was simple and Tony was 10/10, great guy 👍

First of all it was a fantastic tour but not worth the money and way too expensive. It sounds very contradictory but I will explain why. The tour guide was very friendly and told great stories at every stop we made. I did have the feeling that there was a rush at some stops. Some stops were so beautiful that more time could be spent walking around and exploring the place. I'm mainly talking about Ksamil en Blue eye. We were allowed to take some pictures and then we continued to the next stop. I also think that attention can be paid to taking a break. Because some coffee shops and eateries were closed, we had to buy some food in the supermarket and continued to the next stop. It was all rushed. So we couldn't all take a normal break to have a drink somewhere and went from place to place. I came home and was extremely tired. For me personally it was really too expensive and not worth the money. Once again it was way too expensive for this day.

We had the most amazing time with Tony! He was funny, informative and kind. Even shared his biscuits with us! The tour was a great way to see what the area of Saranda had to offer, I couldn’t recommend it enough!
