My guide was a man that actually lived thru the war. He spoke English fluently and was a wealth of knowledge. I enjoyed his presentation and his openness. He was an ex police officer and knew the city well. His van was clean and comfortable and he doesn’t smoke! If I’d had more time I’d of hired him for the Tito bunker tour. You can’t go wrong with this man. He loves Sarajevo and it shows!

Our tour guide was a police officer during the Siege of Sarajevo. He was very insightful and he managed to express himself clearly. It was very refreshing to hear the story from the person who experienced the Siege of Sarajevo himself. Definitely a tour worth going. If you were to choose just one tour for Sarajevo, choose this one. You will not regret it.

This was the best 2.5 hours we spend in Sarajevo. Our driver and guide Nermin Vlajcic was really enthusiastic and told us his own story during the war 1992-95 as well as the story of the city, the inhabitants and their relentless fight to keep spirit high during 1425 days of siege. The actual tour of the tunnel was the highlight.
