See how East and West unite in Sarajevo on a walking tour that showcases more than 500 years of the city’s existence. You’ll visit the major sites and see monuments that document many critical events in the history of the world.

You will visit inside the Gazi Husrev Bey mosque and in addition, you’ll learn about the everyday customs and traditions of the people of Sarajevo. Then uncover the mystery of Sarajevo’s clock tower, which fascinates every tourist visiting this city.

Your guide will show you several craft shops in the Baščaršija market area of Sarajevo, tell you stories of some of the most famous local dishes and drinks and explain why coffee is such an important part of everyday life.

You will walk along the Miljacka river and see some of the best examples of ArtNoveu architecture from the early 20th century. Then walk through Sarajevo's “Mahala” neighborhood. Your guide will also show you the Franciscan monastery of St Anthony of Padua and tell you the amazing story of Sarajevo's beer production, that started in the 17th century

Finally, you will take a ride on the Sarajevo Cable Car to see some stunning views of Sarajevo and the nearby mountains and cliffs. You can choose to spend additional time at the mountain station to enjoy the views and take a hike around.
