We had an incredible experience in Ponta Delgada thanks to our amazing tour guide, Manuela! A proud Azorean who was born and raised in the islands, and well-traveled, she brought a wealth of knowledge and personal insight to our tour. Manuela shared fascinating stories about the area's history and her own ancestral roots, which really enriched our understanding of the Azores. She even went above and beyond by recommending a fantastic seafood restaurant—Cais 20—which is an absolute must for seafood lovers! Ponta Delgada itself is a beautiful, walkable city that feels clean, safe, and full of charm. Highly recommend both the destination and Manuela as a guide!

We really enjoyed our tour with Dora. Lots more f good information about the town and life in the Azores. Coffee and Dona Amelia tart were good too! Tour starts at a park on the west side of town. There’s a large free parking lot a 2-3 minute walk away if you’re driving.

The city tour of Ponta Delgado was a great way to start our trip in San Miguel. Emmanuela was an excellent guide sharing wonderful historical, cultural, and botanical information. We highly recommend this tour.

Dora was a great guide. She shared so much knowledge and history, things we would have never known walking around town on our own. Angra is beautiful, and Dora is an excellent guide.
