Really good! We especially loved visiting Thirissa and the calmness there! Agreed with previous reviews: don’t wear anything light before you get to shower if you go into the Hot Springs as they will stain! The organisation of transport was very chaotic, but we made it there and back in one piece!

This was a fun day! We did the half day: pick-up by a bus in the morning and a drive down to the Fira port to get on our very pirate ship-looking boat. Our guide spoke at least 4 languages! As a group, we went to Nea Kameni (big island in the middle of the caldera, an active volcano) and hiked up to the top (a semi-steep hike of about 15-20 min). Our guide told us about the volcano and some history of Santorini. Then we went to the hot springs - we had about 30 min to swim out to the springs, hang out, and then swim back to the boat. Then we went to the island of Thirasia for 2 hours of free time. We ate our packed lunch, but many people got lunch at the port restaurants. We'd brought our own snorkels so we snorkeled for a bit in the very clear water! On the way back to Fira's port, we took a ride close to Oia and Fira and learned more info about the towns. The only complaint I have was confusion at the port finding the right bus to get back to our hotel (the buses did not have signs)

The volcano hike was too hot and there was not much to see. The hot springs were not hot at all, but it was cool to swim in the sea. The boat ride was peaceful and the guide was great. He rattled off directions and facts in several languages. My lunch was awful but there were not many choices. The Oia sunset was nice but really crowded so we found a restaurant with a great view and had drinks. It was confusing trying to find the right bus back.
