If you only have time for one excursion please make sure that the one to Thirasia with Nicole is the one. she is such a knowledgeable guide and an incredible person. I enjoyed so much hearing about the story of her island, visiting little farms, the cave houses and meeting her friends Yannis and Manuel. We foraged too, which was great and I had a delicious home cooked Greek feast.. I cannot recommend this tour more. Thanks Nicole, you have been amazing!

Highly recommend!! This experience was the highlight of our trip to Santorini. Nicole was an amazing guide and we loved the personal attention as she shared her love of the beautiful island of Thirasia with us. A big treat was the wonderful feast of home cooked Greek food waiting on us about 2/3 through the tour. Bring your most comfortable pair of shoes and be prepared to experience a incredible hike. If you’re thinking about taking a trip to Thirasia while in Santorini…don’t just think about it…do it!! And make sure Nicole is your guide.

Forget the busy and crowded main island of Santorini (at least for some wonderful hours) and get to know Thirasia and its ritch history. A much more interesting, quiet and enjoyable place than the overcrowded towns of Thira or Oia. We enjoyed the whole trip and it was our most entertaining hiking experience we had so far in Santorini. Nicole is a special guide who knows the local people, the astonishing history of the villages, buildings and much much more. The walk was not too hard, but we would recommend to walk in firm and good hiking shoes. From the first minute you get to know the greek hospitality and kindness. At the start of the trip we had an occasion to try fresh baked bread from the oven. If you ever wondered how Santorini was before the masses of tourists came, go to Thirasia with Nicole as guide. As a highlight you see an old unihabited cave town and arriving in Manolas an authentic and very tasty feast awaits you. We enjoyed every minute on this special island.
