Taste a variety of the fine wines of Santorini on a wine tour of the island. Visit 3 Santorini wineries, and enjoy a Santorini sunset at your final stop. Sample as many as 12 different varietals, including wines made from the indigenous Assyrtiko grape. Learn about the island’s unique viticulture that produces some of the crispest and seductively sweet wines in the Mediterranean. Explore a volcanic vineyard, visit wine cellars, and enjoy a platter of local delicacies to accompany the wine. Stop for tastings at Argyros Estate, Anhydrous Winery, and finally to the cliff-top SantoWinery offering sweeping views of the volcano, where you’ll enjoy both the wines and the sunset views.

  • The wines served during the tour are mainly whites and dessert wines, as these are the kind of wines the island of Santorini produces
  • Tours depart daily at approximately 4:00 PM, depending on the location of your hotel. Departures are available from May to October every year

We enjoyed learning about Santorini wines and their unique varieties. Sampling the various wines while getting to know the other tour participants was very pleasant. Walking through the vineyards and seeing how the grapes are grown was very interesting. We loved the tour from start to finish. Our guide Angelo made it a party for everyone! I would highly recommend it. Definitely worth the cost.
