This is a must-do, can’t-miss activity if you love photography! You will be able to get the most amazing photos of your trip to Santorini by going with a local photographer who knows when and where to go for the very best shots. I learned more about my camera and settings and about Santorini that I wouldn’t have learned otherwise. I took the morning tour and it was well worth the early alarm to miss the crowds and congestion.

I signed up for this tour, with the intention to take great photos, not commonly found on the standard tourist path. I was not disappointed. We caught the sunrise, visited two towns seeing classic local architecture, and did some portrait photography as well. The timing was good, since I was back from the tour by 10:30am.

Konstantina and Leo drove us around to several sites (mainly in the south of the island, since we had the afternoon tour) -- from villages, to a beach, to the Akrotiri Lighthouse for sunset. At each spot we would walk some paths that Konstantina had already scouted, and shoot various things ranging from vistas to small details, or even just shapes/textures. Both K&L were great at suggesting photo subjects and advice on framing the shot. Neither of us are technically accomplished photographers; that wasn't an issue and they supplied a bit of insight on such topics when asked. Also they were just great to hang with! Super nice folks who talked about Santorini on non-photography topics as well. Overall it was one of the best ways we could have spent our time there.
