Amazing excursion! The staff were so professional, kind, fun, and really just great overall. And what a beautiful way to see the island. The catamaran was gorgeous and the food was truly fabulous (and there was plenty of it!) And I can't forget to say how enjoyable the white wine was. On the day we went, it was crazy windy and the area was rough, so we were unable to stop at the first swimming spot. However, the next two spots were ideal for swimming. It was October, and I am a baby with the cold, so I chose to stay aboard, but everyone who swam thought it was great. We really had a wonderful time, and I'd choose this excursion again any day over fighting through the streets of Santorini with all the tourists. It was such a unique and wonderful experience.

The reviews I read was really great and I’m happy to report that we had a fabulous relaxing day out. Its an easy day on the boat, the crew is very friendly and helpful! The boat was not overcrowded (would guesstimate 20 of us) and we had a light and fresh lunch. I would highly recommend this if you’re looking to experience a little bit of the Mediterranean sea from the water. It wasn’t really a guided history lesson, small facts and stories here and there, which is actually perfect!l. You just get to relax, soak up the sun, enjoy your wine and swim in the beautiful waters! We had 3 swim stops, which i felt was great, of course more would be welcomed but I didn’t feel like we were rushed or did not have enough time in the water. Added bonus that the transportation to and from our hotel was so well organized, we didn’t have to worry about it at all and the driver was so friendly! Maria was an exceptional and friendly hostess! I would 100% book this again!!!

Full description

Set sail on a luxurious catamaran cruise from Santorini's Vlychada Marina, welcomed with a glass of wine or soft drink. Explore the island's vivid coastlines while learning about its history and geology from an onboard local guide. Your journey begins at the stunning Red Beach for swimming and snorkeling among the red cliffs. Enjoy mezedes onboard as you sail to White Beach, capturing photos of the Indian Rocks and the Venetian Lighthouse at Akrotiri. The journey proceeds into the caldera, steering towards the volcanic hot springs known for their therapeutic properties. After soaking in these sulfur-rich waters, savor the iconic view of cliff-side villages. The final stop is Mesa Pigadia for more aquatic activities. During this time, savor a BBQ lunch with options like chicken, Neapolitan pasta, Greek salad, and Greek Ratatouille and a traditional greek dessert, complemented by an open bar offering wine and soft drinks.

It was an awesome experience for me and my friend. We get to see the famous sunset of Santorini without the tons of tourists flooding on the area. And we get to know more about the beaches and the Island. It was also a nice experience to be able to swim these beaches and connect with other travelers. We pretty much had an amazing time on board. We dance and the food is great, except the behavior of the captain towards us. We boarded the Empress Blue of Vista Yatching, Cristina and Cristo were very nice and accommodating. The captain Alkris made a comment in a demeaning sound that I find it so rude. He said to my friend, WHY ARE FILIPINOS LIKE TO TAKE PICTURES SO MUCH? Take note, there were 4 Filipino’s on board. If he was so annoyed with us taking so much picture, he should have kept it on himself. That’s like etiquette 101. We paid for it, and we have every right to take pictures.
