Full description

Explore Santorini in a day by bus and boat. Your first stop is the 16th-century monastery of the Prophet Elias, located 550 meters above sea level at the highest point of the island. Enjoy breathtaking views across the whole island.

The next destination is Pyrgos, the highest village on Santorini, known for its architecture typical of the Cyclades. See Byzantine churches and a Venetian fortress and experience a picturesque view. At Athinios board your boat and ride to the Nea Kameni Volcano. Follow a bumpy trail to an active volcano crater.

Back aboard the boat continue your journey and land on the island of Palea Kameni. The boat will take you within 50 meters of the thermal springs. Swim, splash or relax in the green sulfurous water.

Get to know the island of Thirasia, once part of Santorini before a volcanic eruption. On the beach you can swim, eat or explore the old village of Manola, with its spiral staircases and quaint houses.

Finally the boat takes you to the port of Ammoudi, just below Ia. Walk the 300 steps to reach Ia and be rewarded with one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. About half an hour after sunset your bus returns from Ia to the pick-up location.

This is a great tour! In just one day we got to learn a lot about the island, it’s history and what it is today, we visited some really cool spots, it was interesting and fun! Our guide Vaso was amazing! Loved her stories about Santorini and her cheerful spirit, we enjoyed our day with her :)
