Know before you go

  • Kindly note that for semi private tours, pick ups from hotels located in Kamari, Purgos, Emporeio, Megalochori, Akrotiri, Perissa, Perivolos, Vlychada, Vourvoulos, Exo Gialos and nearby areas are not accommodated. The pick & drop off will be at the Fira Bus Station in Fira town, unless advised otherwise.
  • Upon pick up, please be at the deisgnated pick up spot at least 5 minutes before your pick up time. Due to heavy traffic there is a chance to be a small delay of our vehicle's arrival, however, please stay at your designated pick up location. In case you need assistance or your are not sure regarding your pick up instructions, please reach out to us or the GYG assistance.
  • You should expect a new, Mercedes minibus, with our "Santorini Wine Tour" logo at the back.

The bus ride over was very pleasant and the driver and his co-host were very knowledgeable and knew the island well. The chef had a great personality and was very interactive. The location was a fourth generation winery with a restaurant. All the vegetables are grown on site. The chef takes pride in his work and we received copies of the recipes when we left. Come hungry!!! I would skip breakfast.

Perfect in every way! Great combination of learning about Greek wine production, wine tasting and creating some of Santorini's best dishes in a beautifully set kitchen. The experience ends in a beautiful restaurant with the perfect bottle of wine and the meals you created! The team running the activity is a perfect combination of humor, warmth and hospitality. This is a must activity if you're on Santorini - don't miss it!

Everything was fantastic. Our guide Panos was incredibly knowledgeable, both about wine and local traditions. He is clearly passionate about what he does and it made the entire experience that much better. We had our tasting at Art Space Winery; the wine was fantastic and the staff was warm and engaging. Our cooking class was held at Karamolegos Winery and again, the staff exceeded our expectations. The recipes were easy to follow and delicious, and catered to different experience levels. All in all, this experience blew us away, and we would recommend it to anyone!
