Full description
Take the bus from your hotel to the port of Athinios. Then climb aboard the boat and start your journey. First visit the volcanic island of Nea Kameni. Follow a bumpy trail to an active volcano crater. Then continue your journey to the island of Palea Kameni. The boat will take you within 50 meters of the thermal springs. Swim, splash or relax in the green sulfurous water. Discover the island of Thirasia, once part of Santorini before a volcanic eruption. On the beach you can swim, eat or explore the old village of Manola with its spiral staircases and quaint houses. Find somewhere to enjoy a snack or take a swim on the island's beach. Leaving Thirasia Island, King Thiras will sail under Oia on the way back to Athinios Port, where you can snap some wonderful photos of the cliffs and the breathtaking scenery. The tour continues with a bus transfer to Oia Village for the sunset. Well organized

Well organized. Overall a nice tour. Of course you are with about 60 other people on the sailboat but that doesn't bother you. The volcanic island was beautiful, but you have to be quite fit to hike all the way up. The sulfur springs are definitely worth a dip in the water. Thirasia was a great stop for lunch and Oia was of course also very worth seeing. But a lot of tourists, all of them filming the sunset. Very crowded. Still great tour. You should have changing clothes with you, as you are more than sweaty after climbing the volcano crater

    Such an amazing trip

The excursion was perfect but a lot of credit has to go toward our tour guide Tanya. She kept us entertained throughout the experience. The boat ride was relaxing and the day flew by. The coaches arrived near enough on time. For the sunset you go to Oia. We thought you would be on the boat watching the sunset. Apart from that is was perfect. Alot of walking up and down steep hills so bring your trainers, extra suntan protection.

Guide was really good very knowledgeable but sometimes a bit disjointed, jumping from one thing to another so you needed to know a little about the history and geology to fiully understand the commentary. The boat was a little basic and uncomfortable, luckily there was not much time spent on the boat. The lunch stop was too long, all in all not bad.
