I arrived as the gates opened so had the place to myself for 45 minutes before three tour buses arrived. I wad therefore able to ask the staff questions and read all the displays with ease. My review may have been different if I was wandering around with the masses of tourists :)

Fantastic experience. Highly recommended for deeper understanding of struggles of prosperous 3rdC bronze age town during evacuation from earthquakes and Thira eruption, largest in recorded human history. Excavations and video explains inhabitants' daily living very well. Model of town useful also. Took great photos/videos for review back home in Canada. Thank you for opening this site for public viewing.
