Hop aboard a comfortable wooden sailboat in Santorini Old Harbor in the town of Fira. Embark on a sailing adventure where you can soak up the rugged beauty of Santorini's famous coastline from the water. Listen to engaging audio commentary that helps to immerse you in the area's facinating sigths. Capture pictures of the breathtaking volcanic islands that dot the azure waters of the Santorini Caldera. Make your first port of call at Nea Kameni, the site of an active volcano. Here, you can choose to go on a self-guided hike up to the crater, venturing through the lunar-like volcanic landscapes. Continues to Palea Kameni for a relaxing dip in the therapeutic hot springs. Plunge into waters that are a little warmer than the rest of the sea and admire the black sand beach. Further your relaxation with the use of the provided pool noodle floats. Return to Santorini Old Harbor at the end of your cruise with unforgettable memories of the island.

Go to the NST ticket counter at the center of the port, in front of the wooden boats. You can take the cable car from Fira to the Old Port or walk down the stairs.

  • This tour involves a moderate amount of walking. If you take part in the volcano hike, some walking is on uneven surfaces
  • The hike to the volcano is optional and is done without a guide so you are responsible for your own safety at all times
  • You might get wet on the boat depending on the weather conditions
  • During summer, the boat is usually crowded but there is a seat for every passenger
  • At hot springs, non-confident swimmers can stay on the boat. Please note that the boat is equipped with life jackets that are only provided in case of emergency
  • The sulfur-rich waters at the hot springs, might discolor light fabrics
  • Due to Port Authorities' restrictions, the stop at the hot springs is limited to 30 minutes
  • It is necessary to provide the full name, date of birth, and nationality of each passenger to comply with Porth Authority regulations

Good experience, definitely worth the money. Boat wasn’t too overcrowded considering we went in August. Hot springs were the best bit - definitely make use of the pool noodles provided!!! You have to swim through deep sea water for a couple of minutes before reaching the springs which are much shallower.

1. We were told it would likely be too cold to swim so we came unprepared. Everyone else ended up swimming so we felt we missed out. 2. Learnt only the night before that the cable car down to/from the port was not functional so it was a long tiring trek especially back up the steps after the activity. Would not have booked if we knew this ahead of time.
