Full description

Discover the sights of Santorini on this guided tour in an airconditioned vehicle. Be picked up from centrally-located meeting points on Santorini. Visit sights like Akrotiri, the Prophet Elias Monastery, and the black volcanic sand beach of Perivolos.

Start with the breath-taking views at the Prophet Elias Monastery and visit this picturesque monastery. Then head to Megalochori village, an extremely charming traditional settlement that was almost abandoned after a major earthquake.

Continue to Akrotiri Excavations where were preserved by volcanic ash. Purchase a ticket to uncover these well-preserved pieces of history on your own. Have free time at the Red Beach to simply enjoy the colorful formations or visit Akrotiri Bay where you can buy lunch.

Make your way to the black sand Perivolos beach for swimming, exploring the area, or purchasing fresh-cooked fish from a local tavern. The last stop is one of the most popular wineries in Santorini, for a wine tasting experience.

Loved this tour as it gave us a taste of several different experiences on the island. I studied Akrotiri in college, so that was a highlight for me. Loved the black sand beach, wine tasting sett and visiting a quaint village. I feel like viewing the red sand beach could be omitted since you’re not supposed to go walk down to the beach (due to landslides). Overall great experience. Tanya is so warm and funny. She has so much energy and easily drops into different languages to help her different guests understand the descriptions. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience, with a nice, prepared and engaging guide (Tanya) who also lends itself to making beautiful and fun souvenir photos. A few notes for improvement: reduce excavation time in order to give Perivolos more time to allow everyone to bathe in the beautiful waters. Excellent wine tasting at Artemis Karamolegos Winery at Expo Gonia (cost: 10 euros per person).

Wonderful way to see different parts of the island without needed to rent a car. It was truly a wonderful trip! They squeezed in a lot, which means we didn't get too much time at any place, but that was ok for us. Our guide was excellent. Her sense of humor made our day.
