This was probably the highlight of our entire vacation! Our guide was an actual archeologist which made for the most epic experience on the island. We saw every highlight we could have wanted and then had lunch at a local favorite right on the black sand beach per the guides recommendation. The fish might actually have been the best I have ever had and the view was unparalleled!

We highly recommend this activity. We were picked up promptly at our hotel and dropped off after our tour. The vehicle was more than comfortable and our guide and driver were polite and informative. We took this on our first day in Santorini and highly recommend this timing. We did not rent a car so it was a chance to go all over the island and see many villages (including Oia of course). We also went to the Monastery grounds on the highest point on the island and it was just lovely. We had a fabulous lunch at a restaurant (Mario) on the Black Beach. It was one of our favorite meals we had in Greece. We learned so much about the island and saw so much just in this one trip. We highly, highly recommend this activity as a best way to get to know and see all of Santorini and get lots of good history and information along the way!! It was a perfect and fun day run smoothly with a polite and friendly guide. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We loved everything about this tour!!

Nick was super informative and clearly knew about Santorini and its history. He was very friendly and fun to hang out with. His background in archaeology provided a great reference for the ruins at Akrotiri and the history of Greece in general. Our driver Takis knew the island intimately and took us to some hidden gems. These guys are highly recommended.
