We were a group of three. One of us had a hearing challenge, another a vision challenge, and the third a walking challenge. He was able to adjust the tour to all our needs. He is a very quick learner! George was an excellent guide. His expertise in planning a route for us based on our interests and abilities was outstanding. We viewed Santorini from many vantage points around the island. He customized the experience by eliminating some archeological sites, because we had seen so many on other islands, and he added more points of interest so we could become acquainted with life on Santorini from many perspectives. The stops for coffee and lunch added a “locals” perspective, allowing us the tastes of the area. Also, if you are a picture buff, he has a plethora of ideas for capturing the best photos. Full description
Explore the village of Imerovigli, situated on a higher cliff with an incredible view. Make a short stop in Firostefani to see the famous Blue Dome Church, the subject of so many Santorini postcards.
Explore the peak of Prophet Ilias, the island’s highest mountain, standing 2,000 feet above sea level. Discover the village of Megalochori or Pyrgos and chose one of them.
Take an optional stop at Akrotiri Archaeological Site if you want to explore the excavations. Also, you can choose an optional winery and visit Estate Argyros or Venetsanos Winery, to taste the local wine.
Admire the panoramic views, swim at the picturesque red or black sandy beaches, and relax over lunch at the seaside restaurant.
