This trip was a fantastic experience. Our guide Diego was very helpful from the beginning. He suggested a place where we could meet-up as we were staying outside the pickup zone. He had all the answers to all of the questions in the bus. He set an atmosphere of respect, curiosity, humour, and was very kind. We learned some fun and interesting facts about Chile, Santiago, Casablanca, Valparaiso, Viña del Mar, and Reñaca. Our fellow passengers were also a treat. We made some great connections, shared stories, and had many laughs. When we made the reservation we were a little hesitant about the cost, but it was worth every penny.

Head down Route 68 from Santiago, passing through the Curacavi Valley on this full-day tour. Stop in Casablanca for a courtesy wine and olive oil tasting. Continue to Valparaiso on the Pacific coast. UNESCO declared the city’s historic center a Cultural Patrimony of Humanity. Admire its colorful houses, including La Sebastiana, one of the homes of poet and Nobel Laureate Pablo Neruda. Next is a visit to the popular seaside resort of Vina del Mar, where you can choose to have lunch at a restaurant. The town is known as the Garden City for its numerous parks and beautiful flowers. Enjoy all the coast until Reñaca the most popular beach area of the region. On the return drive, you’ll visit Via Las Palmas, a unique place with palm trees on its hills.

After reading some of the reviews, we were a little sceptical about this tour. However, it was a good value for money way for us to see Valpraiso and Vina Del Mar in a day. We appreciated the good amount of time to see the street art in Valpraiso, and the free time in Vina Del Mar. It was good that you don't have to go to the 'recommended' restaurant, you can go wherever you like within the time allocated. The technical and short stops were of varying interest. It was a long day with the pickups and drop-offs in peak traffic. Allow 12 hours in total. Our guide and driver were very friendly and informative.
