We had an amazing day - our guide Antonio was so knowledgable and funny, kept everyone entertained whilst giving us lots of information about Chile, Santiago and Valparaiso. He gave us lots of local tips too with regards to the areas of Santiago and food and drink. The stops are quick but plenty of time to take photos and you don’t feel rushed. Seeing the sea lions was a highlight. You get 1 to 2 hours free time in Valparaiso after the guided tour (including going up the fenicular (lift)) to explore and have lunch and you can choose where to go with recommendations from Antonio. You only get 2 small glasses of wine at the tasting and the group is a lot bigger than expected (as it was our tour and several other tours) but the vineyard is beautiful and Antonio did a good job of looking after us and helping us at the tasting. The driver was really nice too! Would 100% recommend!

Full description

Your tour will begin as you are collected from your accommodation, from where you will board a coach destined for the coastal towns of Valparaiso and Viña del Mar. Once in Valparaiso, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will embark on a panoramic tour of the port and Plaza Sotomayor (Sotomayor Square). Following your tour, you will ascend to the summit of the Concepción and Alegre Hills using traditional elevators. You will then take a break for lunch, during which time you can enjoy some Chilean cuisine at your own expense. Your next stop will be to Viña del Mar, which is known as the "Garden City" for its plethora of greenery. Towards the end of your tour, you will visit a coastal area to observe some sea lions, before traveling to your final stop, the Casablanca Valley. There, you can sample wines at the Indomita Vineyard, before returning to Santiago in the early evening.
