Santiago: 2-Day Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Ticket and Cable Car

Everyone onboard was exceptionally friendly and welcoming which was nice! The only downside (which I knew about) was that there were no signs to tell you where pickup is which makes it difficult. Although you have an approx location, there are often many red buses and I wasn’t sure where the stop is and had to run towards the bus as I saw it come up. My other comment would be that one of the buses worked using a QR code and not the audio system. Unfortunately the headphones provided did not work in that case because I have an iPhone and could not use the headphones. Had I known I needed them, I would have brought my own headphones. So I didn’t get to listen in for several stops which was disappointing.

Insgesamt gutes Angebot, das passt und das Personal ist sehr nett. Zu verbessern ist: Haltepunkte anschreiben (derzeit nicht vorhanden, da sucht man dann), Durchsagen per Mikrofon wären auch hilfreich, und der Fahrplan ist nachmittags zu kurz, da kein Bus mehr nach 18 Uhr ab Afahrtsort fährt.

Really convenient way to see the city! I didn’t have much time in Santiago so this allowed me to go to places that are a little off from the city centre (like Parque Bicentenario), which I probably wouldn’t have done otherwise. The fact that you can use it over 2 days also makes it possible to spend a lot of time in different locations.
