A long day but enjoyable, we really appreciated the guide's dedication to getting us to El Yeso which involved waiting for a mudslide on the road to be cleared by an excavator, everyone on the bus having to get out on two other occasions to clear rockslides, and then finally walking the last 20 minutes from where the road was closed. If you have thermals, some layers, and thick socks you don't need to rent any gear. I will say that the picnic didn't add anything, we'd only just had lunch so weren't hungry (which was lucky because it was only a few nibbles of cheese and fruit per person) and it wasn't at a scenic spot, it was just an empty campground so there was nothing to see. I would have preferred to just head straight back to Santiago after lunch and have it not be quite such a long day.

The place is very beautiful. In winter, the road is very difficult, but I felt safe the whole time with Juan, an experienced driver who was attentive to road information on the radio at all times, which made me feel confident the entire time. My experience was during the winter, so we had to walk 2 km through very soft snow up to our shins. It was beautiful but tiring. We went to a dormant volcano and a beautiful themed chocolate shop. At the end, we were treated to wine and cold cuts. It exceeded my expectations.

This was the best tour I could have imagined for a beautiful and unforgettable tracking around Cajón del Maipo. It was perfectly organized and our guide Ray was very passionate about the nature and caring. We learned about the flora and fauna and just had a magical tracking over the snow. We were the only group and could enjoy the nature to the fullest. The view is fantastic and this tour is perfect for nature lovers. I would highly recommend!

Excellent tour, highly recommended. The guide Cláudio was the best we could have had. Beautiful place, everything was perfect. The picnic at the end surprised me. I made new friends on this trip. Highly recommended.

The tour was incredible. That's all there is to say! Edison, our guide and driver, was excellent in every way.
