It was a great trip! We hiked thru jungles, took a break and swam near the beautiful waterfall, then we went to the coffee farm, saw how the coffee was made tasted a delicious coffee and coffee liquor, we also saw toucans there, it was beautiful! Then we hiked a bit more thru the jungles to a restaurant where we had the delicious meal with live music. After we learned about chocolate and made our own chocolates! The whole trip was really fun and good value for money! Definitely recommend to take this tour, you’ll not regret it!

Full description

From Santa Marta, embark on a 45-minute drive through the foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta to find the small town of Minca. In the company of a local guide, take a 2.5-hour nature walk passing waterfalls, natural swimming pools, and scenic views of the surrounding mountains. 

The walk ends at a coffee farm, where you will learn about the coffee production process and it’s importance to Colombia’s culture. Enter a bamboo house where you will enjoy a gourmet lunch before learning about cocoa, its production, and derivatives.  

At the end of the tour, return transfers will be provided to your hotel in Santa Marta.

It was amazing, we did a bunch of cool things: hiked, learned about coffee, tried local coffee, made chocolate, had a great lunch, saw amazing views. Loved it! Totally worth it.
