A great trip with Nando's Tours. We were given all the equipment we needed and were taken out to the best spots. Sea was a bit choppy so visibility was lower, but still saw a sea turtle and loads of fish! The ship wreck is really cool. We were sent footage of the snorkeling after which was an added bonus to remember the trip by. I would just caution if you have any reduced mobility, getting in and out of the boat is not easy and the current in the sea can be quite strong to swim against, but it is well worth the trip out.

Full description

With transfer from the hotel to Santa Maria Pontoon
Leaving Santa Maria from the peer by boat enjoying the blue ocean to the caldeirinha shipwreck seeing different colors, species of fish with turtles guaranteed
Then return by boat to continue snorkelling at the statue of Christ with alot of fishies around, all this with 2 hours of snorkelling with all the equipment including a certificated local guide including photos and videos

We enjoyed the activity a lot! We saw many fish and even 5 turtles. Nando is amazing! I informed him that one of my daughters (12 year) was afraid to go into the deep sea but he managed to get her in the water and than took her by hand to get her fear away and enjoy sealife instead! For ever greatful it was in this wat a great experience to our full family :-) They know the great spots to see fish & turtles! We also got nice video’s afterwards! Wetsuit and flippers and snorkeling set and life jackets available; helping well to get safely in and out the water!
