Discover the Anaga Rural Park forest on a 3.5-hour walk to the volcanic dome close to the hamlet of Taborno, coming down through the magnificent laurel forest of Anaga, a Unesco Biosphere Reserve since 2015. Hike while enjoying amazing views as the path comes out of the forest and approaches the cliffs facing the northeast shore of the island. Taborno is a hamlet right on top of the crane of two different gorges. It is considered a viewpoint hamlet.  Witness the local country life of the island and listen to your guide that will explain the local uses in such an amazing mountain chain. Anaga is one of the places in Tenerife where some aboriginal pre-Hispanic uses have been kept longer. After the walk, lunch will local products will be served.

2. Las Galletas: Whale & Dolphin Tour with Local Skipper

First, choose from an optional pickup from your hotel in Santa Cruz de Tenerife or make your own way to the meeting point at the port. The skipper will welcome you aboard the Cruz del Sur, a spacious 14-meter yacht. Listen as he explains the itinerary of the excursion and gives some information about safety measures. Then, set off to explore the whale and dolphin sighting area off the coast of Tenerife.  As you sail, keep your eyes peeled for these wonderful marine creatures. If you're lucky, you may even see some turtles. After spotting the wildlife, approach the coast and anchor the boat. Enjoy the opportunity to bathe or snorkel in the crystal-clear waters whilst the crew prepares lunch. Snorkeling equipment is provided.  For lunch, enjoy a delicious spread of typical, local food. Later, return to the port, sailing along the coastline and admiring the protected natural site of Punta de Rasca. Arrive at the port and bid farewell to the crew. Either your tour concludes, or you can benefit from the return transfer back to your hotel by selecting the option with hotel pickup and drop-off.

If you are short on time, choose the try dive! The try dive is an experience where you will discover the wonderful sensation of breathing underwater and weightlessness - feel like a fish in water! You will learn the different parts of scuba diving equipment, their funtion and how to use them underwater. Then you will dive to a 6 meters depth accompanied by a dive instructor. Dynamics of the experience: 1 day / 3 hours * 0h - 1h. Arrival * 1h - 2h. We go into the water! Enjoy a 30 to 45 min. dive at a depth of 6 meters. * 2h - 3h. Day 1: On the first day you will begin your 3 to 4-day course with a meet-and-greet, before learning the theory about scuba diving. You'll learn the basic principles of scuba diving such as well as what to consider when planning dives, how to choose the right scuba gear for you, and underwater signals and diving procedures. You will then have a confined water session from 1:00PM-5:00PM before taking you first open-water dive. Day 2: On the second day you will take part in open-water dive number 2 and will also go over the theory with your instructor. Your instructor will also be on hand to answer all of your questions during this essential and information-packed day. Day 3: On the third day you will do open water dive number 3. Following that you will go over the theory again to make sure that you have understood everything you have learned so far. Day 4: On the fourth and final day you will do your fourth and final open-water dive. Following that, you will sit down for your final exam. Once the instructor is satisfied with your skills and you have finished the theory, you can become certified. This certification will be valid for the rest of your life, wherever in the world you travel.

The approach to the canyoning activity is approximately 40 minutes walking. No previous experience is necessary for this canyoning activity. It is necessary to wear sportswear. As we are at an altitude of 1300 metres, the weather is very variable and it is best to bring warm clothing in case it gets cloudy.
