Enjoy a drive along the fabulous Italian Riviera on a full-day tour from Nice. You’ll visit open-air markets along the Riviera that are known for their leather goods, fashion and accessories. Continue your escape toward Dolceacqua, a captivating village with a stone bridge and castle. Enjoy a lunch (not included) and lose yourself in a delicious journey. When you are planning your tour please note that Thursday is market day in Bordighera, and Tuesday and Saturday in are market days in San Remo.

Start with pickup directly from your hotel, residence, train station or cruise port. Travel in comfort on board of a luxury, air-conditioned minibus (8 seats available). Relax, knowing that toll fees, parking, petrol are included. Have the French Riviera at your fingertips. Choose your departure and ending point between Cannes and Monaco (other places are available on request). Make an itinerary that is unique to you among the following cities : Monaco, Eze, Nice, Antibes, Saint Paul de Vence, Cannes, St Tropez, Port Grimaud, Valbonne, Gourdon, Grasse, Vintimiglia, and San Remo. Extend to places like Marseille, Aix en Provence, and Portofino on request.

I will welcome our group to my apartment where we will have our interactive cooking class. I will introduce you the program and the grandma traditional receipts that we will cook together: everybody will have his own apron and I will teach you how to cook the following dishes all rigorously handmade: - tagliatelle - ravioli - orecchiette During the preparation everybody will have his own space and ingredients to put in practice what I'll teach, meanwhile I will be glad to share with you the origin of different preparation, with some historical link and show you some tricks how to make a dish a real artwork so that you can be a real italian chef when you will invite your friends at home next time! During the class we will explore also italian names for different ingredients and in a whilw you will became a PASTA expert. Ready for your special meal? We will move to the terrace and we will share PASTA receipts just cooked during the class and we'll finish our convivial meal with a real italian coffee and some more legend and local tips. Other things to note If you partecipate in group, according to your special needs, we can tailor-made the cooking class for special occasion (birthday, anniversary etc), we are available to make experience both lunch and dinner (vegetarian, vegan or special needs are supported) We can arrange a special table for kids.

Depart from Nice between 08:15 and 09:00 in an air-conditioned minivan and professional driver/ guide to explore Italy and spend some free time shopping in the open air market famous for leather goods, shoes, handbags and other fashion accessories. This will also be an excellent opportunity get a taste of Italian gastronomy. In Menton, the pearl of the French Riviera, discover the scents colors and calm of the old town.  Then, head in the direction of La Turbie to admire one of the most beautiful panoramic views over Monaco and photograph one of the last Roman remains of this region. Don’t forget your passport to cross the border.

We leave Nice by taking the famous road "La Grande Corniche", which is located at an altitude of more than 500 meters. It's the oldest road, built under order of Napoleon I. The Corniche follows the ancient Roman road “Via Augusta”, some passages are original date back to antiquity. Perched on the side of a cliff, it's the best known, the most legendary: sporty, wildest, spectacular of the 3 Corniches, which connect France to Italy. We make several panoramic photo stops. Our first major activity of the day will be the city of San Remo. Discover "the city of flowers" as the Italians call it, because of these magnificent flowers planting which surround the city on all sides. San Remo is also known for organizing the famous "Italian song festival". This city was the favored seaside resort of European aristocracies at the beginning of the 19th century; In 1864, Tsarina Maria Aleksandrovna chose to spend the winter in Sanremo for the first time, which opened the way for elite tourism by Russian nobles, who were attracted by the mild climate and the beauty of the place. Also the Austrian Empress Elisabeth of Wittelsbach (Sissi), stopped several times in San Remo. Then San Remo begins the construction of beautiful architectural masterpieces by this wealthy elite aristocracy who settled semi-permanently in the city. End of the 19th century, the city moved from citrus farming to flower growing. Sanremo offers sumptuous examples of architecture; Baroque, Art Nouveau, Roman and Neoclassical. Among the sites to visit in San Remo we can mention: San Siro Church -12th century, Russian Orthodox Church of Christ the Savior 19th century, Devachan Castle 19th century, Bellevue Palace 1894, Borea d'Olmo Palace, Villa Nobel 1870,... After this stop of history, art, and architecture we head to Dolce Aqua. This small village has brilliantly kept its medieval spirit and soul. It seems to have remained in its original state since the Middles Ages. Start your visit to Dolce Aqua by crossing this pretty Roman bridge of the 13th century which spans the torrent. It connects the two parts of the village. Claude Monet - famous French impressionist painter - enchanted by its beauty, immortalized it in 4 paintings. Discover dark, steep, and complicated streets. The streets are in places so narrow, the houses so high that the sun struggles to penetrate inside. Some passages, completely covered never even see the light of day! The whole thing forms a pretty cobbled maze that transports us happily into the past. A little marvel! With this tour a total change of scenery is guaranteed. You won't forget it easily...

Destination Italy where you will have free time to shop at the open-air market of San Remo. There you will find many artisans offering leather products, handbags, shoes... for competitive prices. Take the opportunity to taste Italian cuisine in nearby restaurants. In Menton, let yourself be carried away by its perfumes and its artisans in colorful and photogenic streets. Finally, photo stop at La Turbie at the Trophée d'Auguste, one of the last vestiges of the Roman era to admire one of the most beautiful panoramas of the Côte d'Azur overlooking Monaco. Start your day with an immersion in the Italian Dolce Vita. Depending on the day of your booking and according to your wishes, your guide will drive you to San Remo, Ventimiglia, Bordighera or Dolceacqua. You will have the opportunity to discover the real Italian market famous for its handbags and quality leathers (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday) And/or discover the food market with local specialties, fruits, vegetables and all the colors that go with it (Monday to Saturday) Discover the city and its charms and take the opportunity to taste a real Italian coffee or a Cappuccino. Your guide will take you along the Riviera between Italy and France to arrive in Menton, a French border town known as the lemon capital. Discover the very colorful old town and its charming streets then take advantage of free time to enjoy a good lunch in a local restaurant (Lunch price not included) and taste the famous limoncello! Continue your day by discovering the glamor and luxury of Monaco. Take advantage of the rock to discover the princely palace square, the old town and the cathedral where Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace Kelly were married. End the tour with Monte-Carlo and its Casino Square where the rich and famous like to go with their superb luxury and sports cars. Before leaving Monaco, you will of course take a complete tour of the Formula 1 circuit which takes shape in the heart of the city.
