A great trip up the Sani Pass with breath taking views. Ellias our guide was very knowledgeable with a regard to animals, local birds and tribal history for the area. He made the day very special for us. Lunch at the highest pub in Africa was a nice experience also.

The Sani Pass is regarded by some as having the most spectacular views in South Africa. Originally a bridle path, it has become a ‘bucket list’ experience that is not to be missed.

Walls of sandstone, cascading rivers, and hair-raising bends are just some of the highlights as your 4x4 vehicle takes you through the Barrier of Spears and into the Kingdom of Lesotho. 

Visit a living Basotho village and meet its people for a true cultural experience. Interact with a Basotho family and children of the village.The highest pub in Africa welcomes you with a hearty lunch and refreshments before your journey back down the pass to Underberg.

Had a great experience together with our guide Allen! We laughed together, and enjoyed the african massage, as Allen liked to call it. Definitely recommend this tour! He stops for nice points to take pictures, where you will get enough time to get out of the car and get the perfect shot. We think that taking this tour would be a 1000 times better than driving the pass by yourself.
