The Valle de la Luna was so beautiful and educational. Our guide Rodolfo and driver Ricardo were awesome. You take a beautiful trek (more physical than anticipated which was great) through the valley and learn about the geology and formation of the rocks, stopping at beautiful viewpoints along the way. They also provided an amazing spread of food and snacks and took us to a great sunset viewpoint. Highly recommend!

Meet your group at the meeting point and travel to Valle de la Luna, located 13 kilometers from San Pedro de Atacama. Explore the lunar-like landscape which will mesmerize you with its colorful geology. Discover interesting rock formations composed of natural minerals, including Las Tres Marías created by wind erosion over many decades. See other sights such as the Grand Dunes, the Salt Cave, the Amphitheater, and the Coyote Stone. At the end of the day, admire the sunset from an exceptional lookout point overlooking the valley. Enjoy a panoramic view of the rugged beauty of the Atacama desert, and see the beautiful colors of the sky as the sun gradually sets.

Wonderful views and unforgettable nature! Fantastic guide Xime! A lot of knowledge and really great English. Her and the driver were really well informed, helpful and keeping the team spirit. The snack they prepared was also really delicious and abundant. Sharing the position for the pick up on WhatsApp was a nice idea. Highly recommended!
