San Pedro de Atacama: Astronomical Tour

1. San Pedro de Atacama: Astronomical Tour

You can observe, with a telescope, objects in the solar system, deep space, and constellations. Learn about the cosmos and its formation.  Then, go on an ethnic astronomical journey to understand how the ancient inhabitants of the Andes interpreted the universe, the milky way, and the night sky. What people are saying about San Pedro de Atacama

A really great tour. The starry sky in the Atacama Desert is incomparable. Felipe gave us a lot of information about different constellations and their meaning for the Andean people. We could see the Milky Way and even Saturn including its rings (small but incredibly beautiful). The tour is really recommended! Thank you Felipe

JP was very friendly and clearly loves his job! My friends and I learned a lot about the history of the desert and the types of animals and plants that live in Atacama. Also riding in the buggy was very fun!

This tour was so different from all the other tours you do in San Pedro. Felipe was very knowledgeable and fun. Definitely don’t miss out on this tour while in San Pedro

The organization was great. The tour was really spectacular. Unfortunately, the accommodations were not that nice, but all in all really successful

Fantastic trip with great guides and people. Don't forget to take warm clothes :)
