The tour to the Escorial and the Valley of the Fallen was superb. Cristina was also a superlative tour guide, very knowledgeable about both sites, and she effectively communicated in both Spanish and English. The two sites provided an intriguing glimpse into two of the most significant periods of Spanish history--the important reign of Phillip II in the 16th century at the zenith of the Spanish empire, and the climactic period of the Spanish Civil War in the 20th century. The travel on a very comfortable bus was also very nice indeed. It was a fascinating tour.

Best of the 3 tours i joined in Madrid. Guide Cristina was informative, attend to detail and good time management. The Basilica is the best (better than those basilica or cathedral in Granada, Seville, Toledo, Sergovia and Avila). Also this guide Cristina is better than the guide from Yellow Tour (who left the entire group waiting for 30 min under 41C sun for the bus back to Madrid) or the guide from VPT tour who was brief with narration in English but extensive with Spanish narration. Hope i get Cristina for my guide and Fun & Ticket for my next tour

Pilar was an excellent guide. She speaks so clearly both in English and Spanish. Yes, the tour is bilingual. This tour goes fast so that people can get back in Madrid by the Spain. If you are used to the noon lunch time, be sure to pack some snack, etc. This was also a great value as it would been a bit complicated to do this tour on my own.
