following some reviews we read before the trip (after booking) we got a bit worried as it seemed that people felt they were ripped off. We had a great half day on the tour: we were picked up on time, had a very knowledgeable guide that answered all our curiosities and guided us through the entire site and gave us time in the end to explore on our own. we felt it was enough time and moved on to the tequila tasting (which we had the option to do or not) where we shortly got explanations about uses of plants and obsidian. We didn't feel pressure to buy anything and we skipped the lunch as it was still early - so no info on the restaurant. We got what we wanted and enjoyed the tour, we arrived back at 1 PM and had time to do more things in CDMX. thanks, Flor Ines!

Rafael is a brilliant guide, his English, delivery, tone are excellent: he is not only knowledgeable but is not droning on by rote, which is great. The organisation was flawless, info/pickup etc. Room for improvement: the guide’s folder is tattered, the seatbelts in the bus weren’t all functional, which is a big no-no for Europeans. The trip description didn’t exactly match the description, we had no “free” time, were delivered to the one restaurant, and didn’t visit the museum.

Teotihuacan is an amazing treasure and well worth the visit. As for the tour, I would tell Wayak to remember that many foreign tourists value their TIME as much as the money spent. I left my hotel at 7 am and returned at 4 pm, but the total time spent at the pyramids was only about 2 1/2 hours. The driver and guide work VERY long hours and there is so much to learn just about Teotihuacan. I would have been just fine (and so would many others) with paying you the same price to skip Tlatleloco and arrive earlier at Teotihuacan and then enjoy a small meal + shopping/pulque tasting. I would have happily given you 2-3 hours back in your day and mine. I recommend that you consider an "Express" tour. Thank you!
