You will walk the cobblestone streets past brightly painted houses, learning about the architecture, culture, and traditions of Puerto Rico. Discover the second oldest cathedral in the Americas, the oldest governor’s mansion in the Western hemisphere, the imposing citadel of Castillo San Felipe del Morro, the Spanish plazas, and more. Within the city walls, you’ll make five stops to taste some of the food and drinks that make Puerto Rican cuisine so delicious. Sample artisan, hand-picked coffee, try traditional pastries, taste the most delicious mofongo (the Island’s quintessential dish), enjoy homemade ice cream made from all natural ingredients, savor locally seasoned pork and much more! The tour started right in time. Our guide, Desiree, is an expert in Puerto Rican cuisine. She showed us a bit of history, walking through key street in Old San Juan. We had a coffee and Mayorca sandwich, pork and beans with soursop and rum, fish toston tacos, a chilled chocolate drink and a fish bite with another rum cocktail. We would have never found these amazing places on our own!

I loved this tour, it was worth every penny!! Pablo Garcia was a most gracious tour guide, incredibly engaging... he is a wealth of PR knowledge. I was greatly impressed with the COVID safety precautions. I learned a great deal on my first visit to the beautiful State. The sociologist & public administrator in me was quite pleased. The food at each stop was delectable. The cocktails & gelatos ever so refreshing! The fun facts about coffee beans & rum was enlightening. Pass the Don Q.
