I started out with this experience realizing it was going to take some expense and time to get to Aquiares' La Esperanza. I even considered cancelling when I realized this. I am glad I didn't! Well worth the time and expense to get to the location. We arrived in the morning to La Esperanza and we were absolutely awestruck by this home. It's over 100 years old and has been recently updated while keeping all the charm. We enjoyed a light breakfast outside overlooking the volcano and gardens. Then our education of the town, people, company and plantation commenced. At every turn, we were enamored by the people and the educational aspect of the tour. This is what tourism should be all about. We loved it. We were a private group of four of us, and we felt like we received the VIP treatment the entire time. We saw how coffee starts out from seed, learned the educational aspects of the whole process, learned how the plantation operates, visited a national historic monument church located

The tour is incredible, 100% recommended. You can take some impressive photos of the Arenal volcano and the La Paz waterfall. During the trip, our guide Juan, helped us to portray several sloths and iguanas, the whole trip was very friendly and very attentive. To end the trip, they take you to relax in the hot springs, which is one of the essential activities you have to do while in Costa Rica.

Basically everything in the description. Our guides name was Juan who met all out expectations. Got home a little later than expected but if it meant more time at the hot tub, im not complaining. I did not do the zip line however some of the people we met did. Juan offered a last minute sign up offer if you change your mind.

The views were amazing, the coffee was excellent, and our guide Will was so funny and kind. The perfect last day in Costa Rica!

Overall was a great experience and our guide, Kenneth, was very professional and attentive. Highly recommend the trip.

Good sights....Long driving although it's unavoidable.
