This tour was so much fun and you get so much food!! Stopping at the local restaurants and hearing all about the history and culture from Hector was a real highlight. Or first stop was the tortilleria…my husband was drooling. We all were! We also stopped at Juan More Tequila. The most delicious tequila you’ll ever taste. And I’m definitely not a tequila drinker. You won’t be disappointed with this tour!!!! TAKE THE TOUR!!

Full description

At the beginning of your tour, learn about the ingredients that make for the best salsas and tacos. You'll visit a Tortilla Factory (morning tour only) and discover the whole process of turning corn into tortillas for tacos. Your guide will walk with you to several local eateries where you will enjoy some of the most popular Mexican comfort foods. Taste food from street carts and small locally-owned restaurants which provide the authentic Mexican flavors. At the end of your food tasting adventure you will have a deeper insight into Mexican food and life.

Fantastic tour! Our guide was very patient as we got lost trying to find he meeting place. He went above and beyond with the tour by showing us San Jose, teaching us the history and cool facts. It was a fantastic day of Tacos, tequila tasting and chocolate.
