The guide was very knowledgeable with great English. We went to the market and tasted fruits, ate sorbet and empanadas. They accommodated me as i dont eat meat. Then we went to the Theatre, park and chocolate tasting. Was a great tour.

Full description

Your San Jose food tour starts with a morning pick-me-up cup of coffee in a café and get know your guide and surroundings. After we will walk to the Mercado El Registro and stroll through the vibrant market and taste the local fruits. With a local guide by your side, you’ll unearth all the secrets behind this San Jose treasure. By the time you end your tour at Central Market, you will be full of local knowledge. Perhaps you will have even picked up some of the local lingo along the way!

We went on this tour this morning and it was brilliant - 3 hours, learnt lots about the city and culture, went to the market where things were explained to us about food and tradition and we got to try a few different local foods and fruit that we wouldn’t have tried if we hadn’t been on the tour. Our guide was so lovely and told us lots of great information. Really enjoyed it!
