Great value for money. This is a long four hour journey down winding roads from San Jose Airport to La Fortuna. The driver stopped halfway at a beautiful rest stop with a scenic overlook for 30 minutes so we can get snacks, drinks and stretch our legs. Great value for money. Cheapest shuttle I could find. Shuttle took me right to my hotel.

If you are traveling from San Jose to La Fortuna, Volcano travel is your best option, On the day of your trip, one of our advisors will reach out to you to give you your exact pick-up time, based on the location of your hotel and traffic, usually we start picking up our clients around 1:30 pm, at the hotels located in the central area of San Jose, then we will go to the Juan Santa María International Airport (SJO Airport), here, Our driver will be picking you up around 2:30 pm, then Halfway along the way, we will make a convenient stop so you can use the bathrooms, stretch a little, or buy a snack, finally we will arrive in La Fortuna around 5:30 pm, we will leave you at the reception of your hotel, as long as the hotel is located within the zone 1 area of La Fortuna.
