San Jose: Yosemite National Park and Giant Sequoias Trip

San Jose: Yosemite National Park and Giant Sequoias Trip

Towering granite cliffs and giant sequoias headline this full-day Yosemite tour from San Jose. Expert guides will make sure you don’t miss the history, geology, wildflowers, and wildlife, that have made this glacier-carved valley the jewel of America’s national park system. Your Yosemite Giant Sequoia Tour from San Jose begins with pickup from your hotel, then heads east crossing through California’s fertile San Joaquin (aka Central) Valley and into the craggy Sierra Nevada mountains. This is the only Yosemite Valley tour where you will also experience the solitude of the Tuolumne Grove of giant sequoias, the largest living things on earth. You’ll reconsider your place in the world, 2,000-year-old trees can make people do that. Your heart (and camera) will be racing as you enter Yosemite Valley, enjoying stops at Inspiration Point and El Capitan Meadow. You will stop for moments at Half Dome, El Capitan, Yosemite Falls, and Bridalveil Falls, with plenty of time allocated to "take some selfies". Yosemite is open year-round, and if you visit in the winter months, you can picture Yosemite Valley covered in soft white snow, with animal footprints scattered about in the meadows and the snow-capped Half Dome casting its long shadow. Between November and March, when the trail is not safe due to snow and ice accumulation, we substitute the hike with additional time in Yosemite Valley.

Join San Jose Ghosts for a shiver-inducing stroll through historic downtown. You'll meet your guide at San Jose State University, where a missing phone booth still emits a terrifying ring. From there, you'll wind through six other historic, haunted locations, unlocking a new ghost story at each one. Marred by fires, earthquakes, murder, and even cannibalism, Silicon Valley is home to ghosts from every time period... but its greatest threat was a shy woman who bought a farmhouse in 1886: Sarah Winchester. The Winchester House’s winding hallways, hidden passages, and seance room have provoked decades of rumors. Some believe it’s a portal to the other side… and we have no idea who — or what — has come through it…  Are you brave enough to face the spirits of this quicksilver city? Book a tour today. Meet your guide at 154 Paseo de San Carlos, San Jose, CA 95112. Your guide will be wearing a US Ghost Adventures T-Shirt and carrying a Lantern

My guide, Gino was so wonderful in explaining Yosemite. He was so animated and each time he spoke it felt like I was on a theme park ride, it was such a great experience! You can tell he loves his job and that positive vibes was contagious! Schedule will be packed since it’s such a long journey with many places to visit, however if you only have one day, this is a great way to experience Yosemite. As a solo traveller, I felt safe and met new friends on the journey. Highly recommend if you’d like to experience a safe and fun time at Yosemite!

It was very organized however I would suggest to hand off brochures about place history and details which has been planned which will help parents who are not very fluent in English speaking to understand better. I had the trip booked for my visiting parents.

I loved the information that guide Brian gave at the beginning of the trip. I wish we could spend more time at the locations, some stops I feel were unnecessary. We could have skipped those
