Emy the guide was great. Pick-up from hotel punctual, but over a half hour wait at wharf waiting to get on boat was totally uncalled for as boat was there at wharf and I could see no reason for delay. Boat trip great - Delta so interesting. Aircon bus very comfortable on a hot day. Stop off at market total waste of time as market boring. The church also an unnecesssy stop - hardly a church of note. But on the whole well worthwhile for the boat ride on the Delta.
I had a tour that not only met, but exceeded my expectations. Not only was Pat super knowledgeable, but very personable. I was on the tour alone which sometimes can be a bit awkward with someone you don't know, BUT within 5 minutes I felt very comfortable and had the best day exploring El Tigre. I was discouraged by many to not take a tour and to do this on my own and I'm SO glad that I spent the money and did the tour! It was worth every penny!
I really enjoyed the tour guide we had, I forget her name. She was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. The market in Tigre was not so great. However, the tour guide did drop us off at our desired location and gave me a great recommendation for a store to get a leather coat!! The rest of the tour was good.
Thank you to our guide Emiliano and to Jorge our driver, for this interesting tour on the fascinating Rio Plata and Tigre. Beautiful views on the islands houses and interesting talks on Argentina during the drive back.
The boat ride was a little anticlimactic. But the delta and Tigre were very interesting. Also the ride back was very informative
