Full description
Depart from San Ignacio, Belize and arrive at the park after driving for an hour. Hike through the jungle, along the river bank and carry your tube up to the starting point. Choose to tube through 1 cave or 2 caves, depending on how far you want to walk. Enjoy the full experience by walking for 45 minutes, to reach the top of the river. Walk for 30 minutes to reach the other starting point, which will only take you through one of the caves.  Float down the river and relax in the first cave, as your expert guide tells you about Mayan culture and their beliefs. Get ready for a thrill in the second cave, accessed by both starting points, where light rapids will add some excitement and speed to your tubing experience. Upgrade your tour by speeding things up with a memorable zipline ride. Before heading into the Mayan underworld, fly and scream in the air as you zip line across the Belize jungles and river from tree to tree. After the Adrenalin rush through the air, cool off in the water of a picturesque natural pool.

Must do bucket list!! Lou was fantastic! His knowledge of the history of the area and Maya made the cave experience more than just the water sport. He told us alot about the flora of the area as well which was fantastically enjoyable. The zipping was thrilling with great views! The caves are just breathtaking! You have to do this!

We had a great day out with Byron. There was only two of us on the tour and he catered it to us entirely. He was full of information about Belize and the Caves. I felt the picnic at the end was a nice touch, it was lovely to have something authentic rather than other tours which just give you a voucher for a burger and chips. I would highly recommend

Leo was a phenomenal guide who taught us about the plants and birds we saw on the water. I recommend going through 2 caves if you have the option. Try to go on Mon, Fri, or the weekends to avoid the cruise ship passengers which fill up the river. This was one of my favorite activities in Belize.
