This was a very fun experience. We really enjoyed the guide and learned alot about truffles and how the dogs are trained. You don't actually do any hunting with the dogs, you just follow the guide around as the dogs hunt but still very entertaining. The wine tasting was an excellent experience as well. And the grounds are stunning. However, a couple of items, were off (at least for us). We found it very difficult to find the parking for the event (we weren't on an organized tour) so maybe some more clear signage would be helpful. Also the description calls for a 4 course lunch or dinner. We only had three courses (which were delicious). But overall a great experience!

The winery is a big operation with weddings, celebrities arriving at the helipad etc. The truffle hunting is the real deal if you care about this sort of thing. We had a superlative time with the guide and a translator as well as the two adorable dogs. Food and wine tasting ( including truffles) was very good and gave a cross section from Chianti Classico to Brunello to a few super tuscans. Highly recommended!

Fantastic tour that I would highly recommend. Having an experienced truffle hunting work with his dogs in front of you was such a treat. We learned so much and will never forget the experience. After truffle hunting, we enjoyed a fantastic lunch featuring local cuisine and truffles, along with a generous wine tasting. If you like truffle/dogs/wine/learning then don’t hesitate to book this experience!
