Segway the streets of San Francisco on an exclusive, VIP small group tour and visit Alcatraz Island on your own.
The combo ticket includes a fully guided tour of San Francisco’s most memorable sites, including North Beach and the San Francisco Waterfront. Navigate your way to hidden vistas for views of San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. Groups are limited to a maximum of 8 guests for a more intimate experience.
You will get a full briefing on how to operate the self-balancing vehicles, and plenty of time in areas, such as Coit Tower, Russian Hill and Fisherman's Wharf. As well as a Segway adventure, you will also be given tickets to Alcatraz Island. Make your way to Pier 33 to catch a ferry. Relax on the 10-minute ferry crossing, enjoying views of the city skyline as you sail.
Upon arrival at Alcatraz, explore the legendary prison island at leisure. Grab your complimentary audio guide, and learn more about some of the infamous residents. You are free to return to the mainland on any of the return ferries. Enjoy spectacular views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge along the way.

• The tour is limited to 8 riders to maximize the VIP experience
• You must be at least 12 years old and weigh between 100-250 pounds (45-113 kilograms)
• Guests under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
• Pregnant women are not allowed on the tour
• You must be able to easily and quickly step on and off the Segway without assistance, which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without any assistance or use of a handrail
• Please do not wear flip-flops, open-toe sandals, or high heels
• Bring an extra layer of warm, wind resistant clothing. Rain ponchos, knit gloves and warm jackets are available for use. Please leave bulky backpacks at home
• You are required to sign a liability waiver
• You must complete the Segway training and test ride
• All Alcatraz departures are the same day as your VIP Segway Tour. For example, if your VIP Segway Tour is at 9:00 AM then your Alcatraz departure will be later that afternoon

Great way to experience the highlights of San Francisco!!
Tre' was a great tour guide and very helpful for us beginners learning to ride. The folks there are fantastic! After the tour was over and i had returned back to Pier 39, i realized i left some belongings in the segway. I called and they were just closing but the lady that answered the phone was very pleasant, located my stuff and creatively came up with a way for me to retrieve them after hours. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for going out of your way. Great business, highly recommend reserving your tour of San Francisco with San Francisco Electric Tour Company. The 2nd part of the combo was a tour of Alcatraz. That was fantastic! Spent 3 hours there and didn't see it all. Would recommend an extra hour there and see if you can move your segway tour a little later. Great time in San Fran.

Incredibly fun way to see some San Francisco sights.
Starts with a helpful practice session to learn to operate the Segway - pretty easy to learn and surprisingly quick to get comfortable once we were out on the road. Our guide, Melanie, kept our group safe and provided constant and entertaining commentary through headphones they provided. Melanie was outstanding! She gave us information and told us stories about the places we saw, and took photos of our group (posted later so we could see and download). She had a great sense of humor and a wonderfully outgoing personality. This was a really fun activity for both me and my teenage daughter. Highly recommend!

Weather in the morning was just gorgeous for Segway and Melanie the tour guide was pleasant and had a good sense of humor, who made the tour very exciting and fun! Highly recommend!
