Lovely bike ride and friendly staff! Highly recommend!

We had some complications with our travel arrangements when we arrived in San Francisco and we were unable to go on the bike ride. We went down to the bike store and explained our situation and Bay City Bikes were very accommodating and had no issues with rebooking our reservation for the next day. Thank you!

Again and again!

We borrowed the bikes at half past nine in the morning. After we got a short briefing on the route (Golden Gate Bridge - Sausalito and back by ferry), we are off. Most of the time there are separate cycle paths (separate from the road and much wider than in Germany). There are a few mountains to master, but otherwise a very pleasant route. On the way to the Golden Gate Bridge there are always great spots for taking photos. Even after driving over the bridge, there is a nice viewpoint. Sausalito is a beautiful little town with its own charm. Here you can stroll and eat well. Then we went back by ferry (for $ 12 per person including bikes). In total we covered almost 18km that day. It was a very nice experience that we would do again and again. Definitely worth the money and highly recommended!

Very good bikes, but the service was poor. Two attendants talking at the same time, one wanting to sell everything he could and the other lost in the actions he should take to deliver the bikes.
