Wonderful! We didn’t get to see any whales the day we went but the crew made the excursion fun and educational all at the same time. You could also tell they had a true passion for their work and wanted us to see the whales as much as we did!! It was a great experience and we will be going again. I loved the crew of the Kitty Kat. Thank you Chelsea and Nicole and of course our captain for the entertainment and your dedication to our ocean and sea life!! We will be back.

Enjoy a ferry transfer from San Francisco and an admission ticket to the famous prison. Embark on a scenic 1-hour cruise of San Francisco Bay before or after your visit. Board the ferry and arrive on Alcatraz Island to begin your visit. Take advantage of an insightful and award-winning audio guide in multiple languages to immerse yourself in the dark history of Alcatraz and learn all about its old inmates and the many fateful escape attempts.

Spend as much time as you'd like before taking the ferry back to the pier. Additionally, enjoy a 1-hour narrated sightseeing cruise of San Francisco Bay in a comfortable boat with both indoor and outdoor seating.

Take in the scenic views and sail past famous San Francisco landmarks, such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, the Bay Bridge and much more.

Please note that the time you select is the time of your Alcatraz tour. You will receive an email the night before your tour with a QR code, which is your ticket. Please arrive at Pier 33 (Alcatraz Landing) at least 30 minutes before the departure time and proceed directly to the boarding line. The Bay Cruise is a separate tour and can be taken any day or time. A schedule of departure times will be sent to you. This tour departs from Pier 39 and you must exchange your voucher for a ticket at the Blue and Gold Fleet box office. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your desired departure time, as availability is first come first served. Note that this option is refundable up until 72 hours prior to your tour. You must contact the tour operator directly to cancel or amend your booking.
