You will explore INSIDE the Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary on Alcatraz Island with America’s most ruthless criminals, including Al Capone. The ferry will leave on time at the specific time you booked. You have to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time at Pier 33. Walk, bike, take public transportation, or drive (as a last resort as it can be challenging to find parking), with easy access from anywhere around the Bay! On the island follow the Cellhouse audio tour “Doing Time” 45 minutes available in Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. Also included is an amazing 1 hour SF Bay Cruise. Sail past the famous PIER 39 sea lions and along San Francisco’s historic waterfront, revealing the city’s fascinating skyline.You have the flexibility to go on your cruise on any day at any available departure. You will receive the schedule. Those are 2 separates tours.

Pier 33 is exclusive to Alcatraz tour operation and there is only 1 boat who goes to Alcatraz. For the Bay Cruise you can go before or after same day depending or another day from Pier 39 (exchange the voucher at Blue and Gold Fleet box office)

Très bien et atmosphère chargée en émotion. Traduit en français, on entend les témoignages des gardes et des prisonniers. Petit bémol quand même sur l’appli GET YOUR GUIDE il n’y avait pas le QR code donc petite flippe donc on a dû contacter le numéro indiqué pour les avoirs. * ATTENTION *: Même si on reçoit un mail au préalable d’alerte qui nous renvoie vers l’appli, un mail à été reçu et s’est logé dans les courriers indésirables avec les QR codes de l’activité 😅

The Alcatraz tour was very interesting and worth to visit. The flexibility of the choice of time of the Bay Cruise is also an advantage. I highly recommend those activities when you visit San Francisco. I would have like to receive earlier notifications from the organizers for the vouchers and QR codes. I would have liked to being able to have a package that could be refundable.

Loved it. You do have to wait a while to get on one of the boats to get to Alcatraz, but once you’re on it’s so great, inside and outside options. Alcatraz itself was incredible. Lots of walking and up hills, but they have something for people who cannot do that to get you to the top. Highly suggest the audio tour of the cells and to go outside into the “yard”. Bay Cruise was about a 10 min walking distance from pier to pier. It offers snacks and some adults beverages, and indoor and outdoor options for seating. Going toward the Golden Gate Bridge was such an experiences and going underneath seeing it so close was just absolutely breathtaking!
