VIP Exclusive: Alcatraz Early Access & City Cable Car Tour

This exclusive, one-of-a-kind experience combines the city's top attraction, Alcatraz, with a city tour of famous neighborhoods, landmarks, and sights on board a motorized classic cable car.

You will start the tour in the early morning at 8:00 AM at Pier 33, where you will check-in with your tour guide to receive your Alcatraz tickets, get a quick run-down of the day, and place your lunch order for later on. You will then make your way to the famous Alcatraz Island aboard an early ferry to avoid the crowds and you’ll arrive at Alcatraz Island around 9:00 AM. Upon arrival, you will be able to journey through the cell blocks and other areas using the audio guide provided, learning about the life of notorious criminals, such as Al Capone.

Following this tour, you will board the scheduled ferry at 11:40 AM for an 11:55 AM departure back to Pier 33, whilst taking in the beautiful views of the San Francisco Bay. Meet with your tour guide by 12:15 PM to pick-up your boxed-lunch and explore Pier 33’s gift shop. By 12:50 PM, you’ll meet your guide at the designated check-in location and get ready to start your city tour. You will board an authentic and iconic motorized cable car and depart Fisherman's Wharf.

Once aboard the cable car, listen to live narration about San Francisco and its notable sights, such as the exquisite Palace of Fine Arts, the northern end of the Golden Gate Bridge at the Vista Point Lookout North, and historic Fort Point. You will cruise up and down the famous hills of San Francisco, enjoying views of Victorian homes. You will finally discover Pacific Heights, one of San Francisco’s most affluent neighborhoods, and take advantage of photo opportunities as you pass by the home featured in the blockbuster film "Mrs. Doubtfire." Your tour will end back at Pier 33 by Alcatraz Landing at 3:15 PM.
