If you only have 1 day for all, is a good option! But it is really only a wine tasting, not a winery tour. Eileen, our guide, was awesome! Friendly and helpful. The car was good and everything went well with the company Incredible Adventures. Muir Woods was great, enough time to explore the main part of the park. About the Sonoma and Napa, I think the two winery options were not the best ones - Roche and Ru Vango - specially Ru Vango, that it didn't give a nice attention to our group (10 people), focusing more on other larger groups. But this tour is a nice option to get to know the places a little, and you can come back in another time to explore more about Sonoma/Napa and do a proper tour with more time ;)

We went as a family of 4 on the day trip to Muir Woods and Sonoma and Nappa Wine tour. Lana was our guide along with two other trainee guides. What a great day we had with lovely company. Lana was very knowledgeable and clearly enjoyed her job. Nothing was too much trouble. The timings at each point was great. The wine tastings did not give us as much 'talking' about how best to taste them and the flavours etc but still we enjoyed each. There were different groups with us from Australia, Singapore and Mexico which made for great company throughout the day..was a highlight of our trip to San Francisco and we would definitely recommend it. Mitch made sure we had a great day, that we had more than enough time at each stop, gave great recommendations along the way, and offered some fun facts that these seasoned wine country goers had never heard. I’d recommend this trip - and especially Mitch - to anyone looking for a day trip out of SF!
