Very safe and pleasant trip to Muir Woods. I am traveling solo and felt very safe. Small group. The drop in Sausalito is definitely worth it. I highly recommend getting off the bus, strolling around in Sausalito and taking the ferry back. All in all a very good experience. Just not five stars because the office Person of tower tours recommended me to use the restroom across the street. This restroom actually belongs to a hotel. The hotel did let me use it, but made me aware that this was an exception. Tower tour should not send people there.

This was a nice way to get transportation to Muir Woods and get dropped off to see the views in Sausalito. However, I would not call this a guided tour. We were dropped off at Muir Woods to walk around ourselves, which was wonderful. We were then driven to Sausalito and told a few details about things on the roadside. Overall, I would recommend this solely as a means of visiting the two destinations.

Excellent guide. Quick (1.5 hr) trip into Muir Woods. I took the hour option (bridge 2) but didn't know it was closed near the end, so I ended up going back the way I came. But it was a great stop with an optional drop-off in Sausalito and you take the ferry. Knowledgeable and fun guide, and rangers in the park are helpful too.
