Pickup at 7:40 AM from 478 Post St., San Francisco 94102, Union Square Area, Downtown San Francisco. Encore Cafe is next door. The bus will board from directly across the street. Pickup at 8:00 AM from 2805 Leavenworth St, Fisherman's Wharf Area. Bay City Bike Rentals & Tours is across the street and has a blue canopy. The bus will board just in front.

We had a great time on the Muir Woods and Sausalito tour. The timing was perfect for our day and it was a nice way to see some sights outside of the main city of San Francisco. A huge appeal was the transportation aspect so we didn’t have to worry about renting a car. The guide was very friendly and easy-going and put at ease during those very windy turns! He also gave us a lot of really interesting facts. Would recommend this for a half day trip.

This was an amazing experience, we missed our pick up due to traffic and the guide was very accommodating to getting us to the bus after it left. The information along the way was great as well as the recommendation from our guide/driver. Multiple stop to take good pictures, Muir Woods was an amazing experience we do wish we had more time to hike but plenty to walk and see. We did the ferry option and it was the best choice since we were able to see the blue angels flying over us during on ferry trip.

Know before you go

  • Important info for the Bike Tour:
  • - Passengers must arrive at 2:30 PM at 599 Humboldt Ave (the corner of Humboldt and Bay St), Sausalito. The bus to Muir Woods will pick them up from this location.
  • - Once the passengers return from Muir Woods, they must collect their bicycles in Sausalito and take them on the ferry back to San Francisco. The bikes must be returned by 6 PM at the same location where the tour began: 2661 Taylor St, San Francisco, CA 94133 (Bay City Bike Store).
  • If you purchased the MW Tour option with return by Ferry from Sausalito, note that you will receive your Ferry voucher upon checking in for your bus tour in the morning. The voucher can be used for any of the departure times offered by our partner company (Blue & Gold Fleet) and does not require a reservation.
