It was a beautiful day with beautiful weather so the nature was on our side that day. The tour itself was equally good. The driver / guide (Danny?) was extremely nice and had kept those of us who didn't fall asleep engaged throughout the trip. Interesting insight and stories about the places were given. And he didn't even ask anyone in the tour to go to particular restaurant or store to purchase - which often happen to bus tours.

Being from the Midwest I really enjoyed seeing the rugged coast and hearing the sea otters. Monterey was the highlight for me, dining on a patio overlooking a gorgeous bay. I am not interested in golf so I could have done without Pebble Beach and spent more time in Carmel. Our guide repeatedly gave the same instructions but maybe he was a teacher in a previous life. He was knowledgeable and informative about the sights.

Monterey and Carmel were on my bucket list. But I didn't want to rent a car myself, so I was glad that there are tours like this one. The bus driver was super nice. The area there is absolutely beautiful. Definitely worth at least one trip. I didn't have that much time in San Francisco - a tour like that was really great there. I would definitely book it again.
