Full description
Begin your Yosemite National Park day tour by getting picked up at select San Francisco hotels. Cross the Bay Bridge and drive through the Central Valley to the town of Oakdale where you will stop for a short break. Start your day in the park at Tunnel View. Then, go to Bridalveil Falls for a quick walk to the base of the roaring waterfall. Next, proceed onto Half Dome and Yosemite Falls. After, enjoy some free time where you will get a chance to picnic at the base of Yosemite Falls, by a river, or in a granite-enclosed meadow. Chances are high that you will see rock climbers in the spring or fall, bears in the summer, and spectacular ice formations in the winter. After regrouping, head to El Capitan, the center of the rock climbing universe. Depending on the season, you may see some climbers on the rock, but they will appear smaller than ants on the 3000-foot (914 meters) rock. Enjoy a photo stop at Valley View and then head to the Tuolumne Grove to take a one-mile (1.6 km) hike to see a grove of 1500-year-old giant sequoia trees. Please note that the hike to the sequoias may not be available during the snow season. After the hike, head back to San Francisco with a restroom stop along the way.

Had an amazing trip to Yosemite on 19 Sep with the awesome guide, Brian! On the way, he showed us some epic climbing videos. It was so cool to learn more about the climbing activities and see the beauty of Yosemite through those videos. Brian's knowledge and passion for the area were contagious, and he made the whole trip super fun and informative. Shoutout to Brian and really thank him for being an awesome guide and making my Yosemite adventure one for the books! 🌄🧗‍♂️ The van was comfy during the trip. Brian provided ice-cold bottled water and keeping us on track with restroom breaks and all. The pick-up spot was convenient too. We also got to do the Giant Sequoia hike and it was all good. 🚐💦🌲

This is a long day but 100% worth it. Alberto was an amazing guide who kept us all entertained on the journeys. The small group made the experience more intimate. One thing to note however is if you’re prone to motion sickness, you’ll probably feel a bit rough for a stretch in the mountains so load up on antisickness!

A wonderful and enlightening experience. The videos were fascinating and an absolute education. I don't think anything can prepare you for the wonder and majesty of Yosemite Valley, even if it's just a tiny taster of the huge park. The only downside - completely beyond the control of our excellent guide - were the disgusting park toilets. Nothing can prepare you for the horror of that either, and it's hard to believe they can't be made less repellent than the are. But apart from that, it was a fabulous day trip. Steven was an absolute star.
